Following a number of behind-the-scenes images, Sony Pictures has finally unveiled the official first trailer for adaptation Uncharted – and it’s as action-packed as expected.
Based on the best-selling action-adventure video game series from Naughty Dog and Sony Interactive Entertainment, the film introduces us to the young would-be treasure hunter Nathan Drake, played by Tom Holland.
Bartender Drake meets the also younger Victor “Sully” Sullivan (Mark Wahlberg) and the two go in dangerous pursuit of “the greatest treasure never found” while also tracking clues that may lead to Nathan’s long-lost brother.
Directed by Ruben Fleischer and based on the screenplay by Rafe Judkins, Art Marcum & Matt Holloway, Uncharted stars Tom Holland, Mark Wahlberg, Sophia Ali, Tati Gabrielle and Antonio Banderas.
The film is set for release in UK cinemas February 11, 2022.
