DC announce details of two upcoming kids graphic novels

Say goodbye to summer and kick off the new school year with two new middle grade graphic novels from DC:  Lois Lane and the Friendship Challenge, and Teen Titans GO! To Camp.

Both are fun, funny, and heartwarming tales perfect for readers aged 8-12 looking for a read in the last days of summer.

Lois Lane and the Friendship Challenge

From New York Times bestselling writer Grace Ellis
(Lumberjanes) and illustrator Brittney Williams (Goldie Vance)
comes Lois Lane and the Friendship Challenge, an original
story about thirteen-year-old Lois Lane as she navigates the
confusing worlds of social media and friendship.

This new middle-grade graphic novel follows a young Lois Lane
in her pursuit to become a viral social media star alongside her
best friend, setting her on the path to becoming the iconic
investigative journalist we all know and love. Perfect for readers
age 8-12, Ellis’ fun and heartwarming story explores the
challenges and triumphs of friendship, what it’s like to grow up in
the social media era, and the importance of unplugging and appreciating those around you IRL.

Lois Lane and the Friendship Challenge is on sale 8/11/2020.

Teen Titans Go! To Camp!

Just in time for the new school year, the fan-favorite Teen
Titans Go! series returns with a fun new middle grade graphic
novel, Teen Titans Go! To Camp! Writer/educator Sholly Fisch and illustrator Marcelo DiChiara make one last summer hurrah by sending the Titans team to Camp Apokolips, and we’re not sure camp director Granny Goodness is ready for them! For added fun, artists Agnes Garbowska, Dario Brizuela, Abigail Larson, Emma Kubert, Leila del Duca, Erich Owen, Jamal Igle, and Franco are drawing letters sent home from camp, so you can see how these Teen campers really feel about this Apokoliptic experience!

Teen Titans Go! To Camp! follows Robin (alongside fellow Teen Titans Starfire, Raven, Beast Boy, and Cyborg) as helearns to value teamwork over his desire to win and be the best at everything. The Teen Titans and their camp rivals will have to work together to save the day (and their summer camp experience)! Perfect for readers ages 8-12 (grades 3-7), this fun and funny adventure delves into the importance of kindness, cooperation, and helping others.

Teen Titans Go! To Camp! will be available in stores and digitally on 8/4/20.
