Following the disappointing season finale of Disney+ series Secret Invasion, along with the poor reception for Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantumania, this year isn’t really shaping up to be one of the best for Marvel. However, following the exciting trailer for the second season of arguably one of their strongest series shows yet, the tide could be turning for the studios.
That’s right, Tom Hiddlestone’s fan favourite God of Mischief is back for more hair flipping, time travel madness – along with Owen Wilson’s TVA detective Mobius and Sophia Di Martino’s Loki variant Sylvie.
The trailer also introduced Oscar winner Ke Huy Quan as the mysterious ‘OB’, who Mobius consults to try and help with Loki’s glitching situation. We also get a brief glimpse of Majors as ‘Victor Timely’ – as teased in Ant-Man 3‘s post-credits scene – with the second season potentially tracking down the mystery behind He Who Remains.
Loki season 2 will start streaming October 6 on Disney+.
