Following the release of the stunning first stills, Searchlight Pictures has unveiled the first trailer for Guillermo del Toro’s highly anticipated Nightmare Alley, which is adapted from William Lindsay Gresham’s novel.
The trailer features the director’s signature style, with classic-looking production design, big sprawling sets, beautiful cinematography and a real noir vibe.
The official synopsis is: an ambitious carny (Bradley Cooper) with a talent for manipulating people with a few well-chosen words hooks up with a female psychiatrist (Cate Blanchett) who is even more dangerous than he is.
Directed by Guillermo del Toro, Nightmare Alley stars Bradley Cooper, Cate Blanchett, Toni Collette, Willem Dafoe, Richard Jenkins, Rooney Mara, Ron Perlman, David Strathairn.
