Marvel announces new release dates for films ‘Black Widow’ and ‘Shang-Chi’

Following the numerous release date shifts due to the global pandemic, Marvel Studios has finally confirmed the fate of upcoming film Black Widow.

The first film of phase 4, and potentially Scarlett Johansson’s last bow as Natasha Romanoff, has a new release date of 9 July 2021 and will be released simultaneously in both cinemas and on Disney+ with Premier Access.

Additionally, Marvel Studios’ Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings has also received a new release date, shuffled back two months to arrive on 3 September, 2021, as Black Widow now occupies it’s previous release spot. Marvel has yet to confirm whether this will be simultaneously released in cinemas and on Disney+.
