FINISH HIM!
Warner Bros. has released the brand new trailer for the sequel to the 2021 video game adaptation, Mortal Kombat II, complete with Karl Urban as fan favourite character, Johnny Cage, as teased at the end of the first instalment.
Along with Cage, the new trailer features gory and game accurate fatalities, iconic phrases such as “finish him” and “get over here” and brand new characters from the franchise including Kitana (Adeline Rudolph), Jade (Tati Gabrielle), and the villainous Shao Kahn (Martyn Ford).
This time, the fan favorite champions – now joined by Johnny Cage himself – are pitted against one another in the ultimate, no-holds barred, gory battle to defeat the dark rule of Shao Kahn that threatens the very existence of the Earthrealm and its defenders.
Karl Urban stars as Johnny Cage, alongside Adeline Rudolph, Jessica McNamee, Josh Lawson, Ludi Lin, Mehcad Brooks, Tati Gabrielle, Lewis Tan, Damon Herriman, with Chin Han, Tadanobu Asano as Lord Raiden, Joe Taslim as Bi-Han, and Hiroyuki Sanada as Hanzo Hasashi and Scorpion.
Mortal Kombat II will be released in the UK on 24th October 2025.
