Debut “Bill & Ted Face the Music” clip released, UK cinematic release confirmed

Following nearly 30 years since Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure, Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter are once again heading back on our screens as Bill S. Preston, Esq. and Theodore “Ted” Logan.

Throughout Excellent Adventure and Bogus Journey, The Wyld Stallyons duo are told they unite the world via an incredible song, and are pretty much worshipped in the future. Well in Face The Music the two have hit middle age and now have their own children, and they’ve still yet to write that hit song…

In the new clip from IGN, we see the two visited by Kelly (Kristen Schaal), a messenger from the future who takes the duo on a very important mission, leaving their two daughters very worried.

Warner Bros UK also took to social media yesterday to confirm that the film will be heading to UK cinemas on 23 September, and unlike US regions, it won’t be heading to premium VOD.

Yet to fulfil their rock and roll destiny, the now middle aged best friends set out on a new adventure when a visitor from the future warns them that only their song can save life as we know it. Along the way, they will be helped by their daughters, a new batch of historical figures, and a few music legends — to seek the song that will set their world right and bring harmony in the universe

Bill & Ted Face the Music is directed by Galaxy Quest’s Dean Parisot and written by Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon.
