Brandon Routh discusses whether he’d return as Superman in “The Flash”

Well it appears as if this year’s Arrowverse crossover event, Crisis on Infinite Earths, really did get the ball rolling with DC’s multiverse. One of the biggest surprises for fans was the live-action meeting of Ezra Miller’s film version of The Flash with Grant Gustin’s small screen take on the scarlet speedster.

Since that fateful crossover, DC has announced that both Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton‘s Batman will be sharing the screen with Barry Allen. But what about Superman?

Brandon Routh, star of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow and Superman Returns, has now portrayed Clark Kent in both TV and film – but would he be up for a cameo in the film too?

In a recent interview with podcast The Geek House Show, Routh had the following to say about potentially bringing his Kingdom Come Superman to proceedings:

“I mean, that’s always a possibility. Of course since they’re bringing back Michael Keaton, which I’m excited about, and some other people from past DC projects, I think it’s very exciting…It worked very well with Crisis on Infinite Earths, and I was extremely proud and honored to be a part of it and to reprise Superman, so it’s absolutely a possibility. I mean, you can do anything with Superman. You know everybody lives and dies all the time [in the comics].

So what would you think of seeing Brandon Routh’s Kingdom Come Superman joining the Ezra Miller’s multiverse alongside Affleck and Keaton? Let us know in the comments below!
