“Titans”: Starfire’s new look & major storyline teased for season 3

Production continues in Toronto for Titans season three, and following our first look at the Red Hood helmet, a photo of Anna Diop’s Starfire has revealed a new look for the extraterrestrial character.

Along with a new look, the character will also be featuring in a major storyline set up in the final episodes of season two, following the arrival of her sister Blackfire.

“We’re planning a big season for Kory this year,” Greg Walker , executive producer of Titans told TVLine. “The arrival of her sister/nemesis Blackfire launches Kory down a path where she uncovers both secrets about her past and clues to her destiny… all of which will lead to her true calling as Starfire. Plus, we have a few other surprises in store for hardcore Starfire fans this season.”

As we discovered last season, her sister killed her parents in an attempt to steal the Tamaranean throne and sent Faddei, a royal guard, to retrieve Starfire. In season two episode nine “Atonement” Blackfire tracked the two down, forcing Kory to kill Faddei when she took over his body, igniting their rivalry once more.

Joining the show for the second season are Joshua Orpin as Superboy, Chelsea Zhang as Rose Wilson, Chella Man as Jericho, Drew Van Acker as Aqualad, Esai Morales as Deathstroke and Iain Glen as Bruce Wayne.
