Michelle Pfeiffer’s Janet Van Dyne finally returned from the Quantum Realm in the final moments of Ant-Man and The Wasp, finally reuniting Hope van Dyne with both of her parents.
Exciting Ant-Man 3 cast announcements were revealed during The Walt Disney Company’s 2020 Investor Day presentation by Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige.
Along with the film’s title revealed to be Quantumania, it was confirmed that the original cast members will be reprising their roles including Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michael Douglas and Michelle Pfeiffer.
Joining the returning cast are two new additions; Kathryn Newton will now play Cassie Lang, the daughter of Scott Lang along with newcomer Jonathan Majors who will portray villain Kang the Conqueror.
Kang the Conqueror is frequently an opponent of the Avengers and the Fantastic Four in Marvel Comics, so it’ll be interesting to see how he fits into the Ant-Man world.
Ant-Man director Peyton Reed was also announced to be returning behind the camera as director for Quantumania.
