HBO Max has finally unveiled the action-packed trailer for the third season of Titans, which teases Jason Todd’s (Curran Walters) tragic descent to fan favourite character Red Hood.
We see the young Robin walking through a creepy abandoned amusement park, then a familiar cackling laugh accompanies a quick shot of someone beating Todd with a crowbar. “Batman’s ally was found dead tonight,” a news report reveals, with the Titans members and newcomer Jay Lycurgo’s Tim Drake all shocked and upset when they her the news.
The trailer also teases the arrival of Barbara Gordon (Savannah Welch) along with Bruce Wayne (Iain Glen) hanging up his cowl as Batman, while the feud between Starfire and Blackfire introduced in season two will be explored further.
The first three episode of Titans season 3 will air on the HBO Max streaming service on August 12.
