Disney has unveiled a brand-new trailer and poster for TRON: Ares, the highly anticipated third instalment in the groundbreaking TRON franchise.
Along with a brand new, albeit brief, glimpse at Gillian Anderson’s mysterious character, we also see the program Ares (Jared Leto) interacting with the legendary Kevin Flynn (Jeff Bridges).
Grammy®-award winning rock band Nine Inch Nails composed the score for “TRON: Ares,” and the band has also dropped “As Alive As You Need Me To Be” — the soundtrack album’s first single and the first official music from the band in five years.
The film follows a highly sophisticated Program, Ares, who is sent from the digital world into the real world on a dangerous mission, marking humankind’s first encounter with A.I. beings.
Directed by Joachim Rønning, TRON: Ares stars Jared Leto, Greta Lee, Evan Peters, Hasan Minhaj, Jodie Turner-Smith, Arturo Castro and Cameron Monaghan.
TRON: Ares opens in cinemas on 10 October 2025.
