Now that it’s December(!), the release of the latest instalment in Sony’s Spider-Man Universe (SSU) is just around the corner, and to celebrate, the studio has released the first eight minutes of Kraven the Hunter.
Kraven the Hunter is the standalone story of how one of Spider-Man’s most lethal villains came to be. Aaron Taylor-Johnson plays Kraven, a man whose complex relationship with his ruthless gangster father, Nikolai Kravinoff (Russell Crowe), starts him down a path of vengeance with brutal consequences, motivating him to become not only the greatest hunter in the world, but also one of its most feared.
The film stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Ariana DeBose, Fred Hechinger, Alessandro Nivola, Christopher Abbott and Russell Crowe.
Kraven the Hunter is set for release in UK cinemas on 13 December 2025.
