With only one month to go, Warner Bros. has released the final trailer for DC’s next entry into the Extended Universe, Aquaman. The trailer features brand new footage including an extended look at a young Arthur being taught by Nuidis Vulko (Willem Dafoe) and more background about the ancient trident Arthur’s half-brother Orm (Patrick Wilson) is seeking. There’s also more Atlantis to explore and a very intriguing looking creature that appears in the middle of the epic battle between the factions of Atlantis.

From Warner Bros. Pictures and director James Wan comes an acition-packed adventure that spans the vast, visually breathtaking underwater world of the seven seas, “Aquaman,” starring Jason Momoa in the title role. The film reveals the origin story of half-human, half-Atlantean Arthur Curry and takes him on the journey of his lifetime—one that will not only force him to face who he really is, but to discover if he is worthy of who he was born to be… a king.
The film is directed by James Wan and stars Amber Heard as Mera, Willem Dafoe as Vulko, Patrick Wilson as Orm/Ocean Master, Dolph Lundgren as Nereus, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as the vengeful Black Manta; and Oscar winner Nicole Kidman as Arthrur’s mom, Atlanna.
Aquaman is set to hit UK cinemas on December 14, 2018, in 3D and 2D and IMAX.
