Universal has released the new trailer for futuristic sci-fi Voyagers, from the director of Limitless and The Illusionist.
The trippy trailer paints a stark future as the fate of the human race is at stake. A group of young men and women, bred for intelligence and obedience, embark on an expedition to colonize a distant planet.
However they soon discover not everything is at is seems, as ‘the blue’ they are trained to take is actually drugging them into submission. As the young subjects begin to stop taking the fluid, their overwhelming rush of feelings return, descending the ship into chaos.
The film features a star-studded cast including Tye Sheridan, Lily-Rose Depp, Fionn Whitehead, Isaac Hempstead Wright and Colin Farrell.
