The first trailer and poster released for prequel “The King’s Man”

Twentieth Century Fox has released the first teaser trailer and poster for prequel The King’s Man, which is based on the comic book “The Secret Service” by Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons.

The trailer teases the origins of the espionage agency back in World War 1, complete with trenches and gas masks, with a real Wonder Woman vibe due to the colouring. Ralph Fiennes’ Duke of Oxford appears to take British teen Conrad (Harris Dickinson) under his wing, indoctrinating him into the secret spy agency.

Interestingly it’s not until the end of the trailer that we see the familiar Savile Row shop…

Directed by Matthew Vaughn, The King’s Man stars Ralph Fiennes, Gemma Arterton, Rhys Ifans, Matthew Goode, Tom Hollander, Harris Dickinson, Daniel Brühl, with Djimon Hounsou, and Charles Dance.

The film is set for release in UK cinemas in February 2020.
