The CW has released the first full-length trailer for the upcoming Superman & Lois spinoff which certainly gives us a much better idea of what to expect from the series.
The footage seems much more in line with the colour grading and ambition of Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel than previous CW shows, signalling a potential departure from the lighter properties such as The Flash and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.
We learn much more about Clark Kent and Lois Lane’s life in Smallville with their two sons, who we’re told suffer with anxiety. Other appearances include General Sam Lane, Lana Lang and a mysterious armoured figure cutting to kryptonite…
Superman & Lois will premiere on Tuesday, February 23, with a 90-minute premiere. The first episode kicks off at 8pm ET/PT, and will be followed by a 30-minute special, Superman & Lois: Legacy of Hope.
