Amazon Prime Video has released a brand new trailer for the upcoming American adaptation of Utopia, starring John Cusack, Rainn Wilson and Sasha Lane, during the Comic Con@Home panel.
The new series comes from writer and executive producer Gillian Flynn (Gone Girl) who has been working on the project for almost seven years. Flynn also revealed that she took her cue more from the ’70s paranoia thrillers that she loves, as opposed to the graphic novel which shaped the British series.

The show also stars Dan Byrd, Ashleigh LaThrop, Jessica Rothe, Desmin Borges, Javon “Wanna” Walton, Farrah Mackenzie, Christopher Denham and Cory Michael Smith.
“Utopia” will launch this fall on Amazon.
