Superman prepares to take on Lobo in new “Superman: Man of Tomorrow” clip

Ahead of the films premiere at DC Fandome this weekend, Warner Bros. has released a new clip from upcoming DC animated feature Superman: Man of Tomorrow.

Thanks to IGN, we meet the young Daily Planet intern Clark Kent (voiced by Darren Criss) as he puts together his first DIY superhero costume, just as Lobo (voiced by Ryan Hurst) arrives in Metropolis.

Check out the clip below!

It’s the dawn of a new age of heroes, and Metropolis has just met its first. But as Daily Planet intern Clark Kent – working alongside reporter Lois Lane – secretly wields his alien powers of flight, super-strength and x-ray vision in the battle for good, there’s even greater trouble on the horizon. Follow the budding hero as he engages in bloody battles with intergalactic bounty hunter Lobo and fights for his life to halt the attack of power-hungry alien Parasite. The world will learn about Superman … but first, Superman must save the world!

Directed by Chris Palmer (Voltron: Legendary Defender), Superman: Man of Tomorrow features Darren Criss, Zachary Quinto, Alexandra Daddario, Brett Dalton, Ryan Hurst, Ike Amadi, Neil Flynn and Bellamy Young.

Produced by Warner Bros. Animation and DC, the feature-length animated film will be released by Warner Bros. Home Entertainment on Digital August 24, 2020, and on DVD, Blu-Ray™ and Limited-Edition Blu-ray™ with Mini-Figure September 7, 2020.
