STX announces new UK and Irish release date for ’21 Bridges’

Following the first look at the film at SDCC earlier this year, STX International has finally unveiled the UK and Irish release date for 21 Bridges, starring Chadwick Boseman.

The NYPD thriller is set for a late November release date (22nd), going up against the hugely anticipated Disney sequel Frozen II and satire Greed, which is a bold move!

Check out the trailer below.

An embattled NYPD detective (Boseman), is thrust into a citywide manhunt for a pair of cop killers after uncovering a massive and unexpected conspiracy. As the night unfolds, lines become blurred on who he is pursuing, and who is in pursuit of him. When the search intensifies, extreme measures are taken to prevent the killers from escaping Manhattan as the authorities close all 21 bridges to prevent any entry or exit from the iconic island.

21 BRIDGES is produced by Anthony and Joe Russo, Chadwick Boseman and Logan Coles and directed by Brian Kirk.

21 BRIDGES is directed by Brian Kirk (Game of Thrones, Penny Dreadful) and stars Chadwick Boseman (Black Panther), Sienna Miller (American Sniper, The Lost City of Z), Taylor Kitsch (True Detective, Waco), Stephan James (If Beale Street Could Talk, Homecoming) and J.K. Simmons (Whiplash, Justice League).

21 BRIDGES opens in UK and Irish cinemas on 22 November.
