After much teasing, Sony Pictures has finally revealed a brand new poster for upcoming threequel, Spider-Man: No Way Home – and it’s a surprisingly stripped back affair compared to their usual offerings.
Along with the return of Alfred Molina’s as Doc Ock, aka Otto Octavius, the studio has also given us our first proper glimpse at Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin. The character’s distinctive cackle and pumpkin bomb have already popped up in the firs trailer, but if you squint and look at the top right of the poster by the lightning, you can see him in his full glory.
In fact, there’s plenty of references on this deceptively simple poster, hinting at villains Sandman and Electro, as well as Doc Ock and Green Goblin. Peter Parker really is going to need all the help he can get!
For the first time in the cinematic history of Spider-Man, our friendly neighbourhood hero is unmasked and no longer able to
separate his normal life from the high-stakes of being a Super Hero. When he asks for help from Doctor Strange the stakes become even more dangerous, forcing him to discover what it truly means to be Spider-Man.
Spider-Man: No Way Home swings into cinemas 17 Decemeber.
