Sony’s next big ensemble Spider-Man movie, following the surprise hit of Venom, is right around the corner and to drum up excitement for the film, the social media embargo has dropped. Early reactions from critics have started cropping up on Twitter and so far, the reviews are full of praise for the animated film!
Sony seem pretty confident in the Phil Lord and Chris Miller film starring Miles Morales (Shameik Moore) and an older Peter Parker (Jake Johnson), that they’ve already announced a sequel and all-female spinoff in the works.

I can finally talk about SPIDER-MAN: INTO THE #SPIDERVERSE, and boy does it live up to the hype.
It's got heart, humor & seriously mind-blowing animation – but it's all in service of Miles' story. Easily one of the best superhero movies EVER

Spider-Man: Into the #SpiderVerse is so great. It got me emotional more than once, it’s very funny, and the action is ridiculously good. I need so many more of these movies. I’m leaving the theater with a massive smile on my face. pic.twitter.com/RZ1tJShQsi

#SpiderVerse is easily the best Spider-Man movie since Spider-Man 2.
Hilarious, tragic, dynamic, unlike anything else in superhero cinema, and a convincing argument that there can and SHOULD be multiple interpretations of any great character.

"Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse" is so creative, fun, and one of the best spidey films to date. An engaging story that opens up the universe and puts the animation to great use and advances the medium. Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, the creative minds behind The Lego Movie and 21 Jump Street, bring their unique talents to a fresh vision of a different Spider-Man Universe, with a groundbreaking visual style that’s the first of its kind. “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse” introduces Brooklyn teen Miles Morales, and the limitless possibilities of the Spider-Verse, where more than one can wear the mask.
