Good news UK DC fans – Sky has FINALLY confirmed when the latest animated tv series from James Gunn will be hitting screens across this side of the pond, following months of waiting.
Creature Commandos premieres with two episodes on Tuesday 8th July 2025 at 2am on Sky, with a repeat airing at 11pm in the evening. Sky hasn’t yet confirmed if or when the series will be released on Demand or on NOW, but it’s likely.
The animated series first debuted in the US on HBO Max back in December 2024, with UK fans having to wait more than six months for a release date for the adult animated series.
Creature Commandos tracks a secret team of incarcerated monsters recruited for missions deemed too dangerous for humans. When all else fails…they’re your last, worst option. Creature Commandos is written and executive produced by James Gunn and is based on DC characters. The series is produced by DC Studios and Warner Bros.
The series has already been renewed for a second season.
