Season 4 of ‘Rick and Morty’ – 2019 release date unveiled

Rick and Morty fans rejoice – the premiere date for season four has finally been announced!

The hugely popular adult animated series will be returning in November 2019, as confirmed by the following video announcement on Adult Swim’s Twitter account.

The third season aired initially on 1 April 2017 with “The Rickshank Rickdemption”, as part of Adult Swim’s annual April Fools’ prank, however the second episode didn’t air until later on in the year, on 30 July 2017. With the announcement confirming the November release date, it means it’s been almost two years since the season aired!

An animated series on adult-swim about the infinite adventures of Rick, a genius alcoholic and careless scientist, with his grandson Morty, a 14 year-old anxious boy who is not so smart. Together, they explore the infinite universes; causing mayhem and running into trouble.

Rick and Morty will return in November 2019 on Adult Swim. The show is currently available on Netflix in the UK.
