Following the heartbreaking events of Avengers: Endgame, fans wondered if/who would be taking up the mantle of Iron Man following Tony’s sacrifice and Robert Downey Jnr’s exit from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Well according to a new report from Cinema Spot, scooper Thomas Polito has revealed that an Ironheart series is in active development at Disney+, with a targeted shooting date sometime next year.

Fans of the comics will know Ironheart as genius Riri Williams, a young engineering student who attends Massachusetts Institute of Technology and builds her on suit based on Iron Man designs.
Created by writer Brian Michael Bendis and artist Mike Deodato, Ironheart later becomes part of the young superhero group Champions.
I’d love to see a grown up Morgan taking on her father’s legacy, but I can definitely get behind Ironheart donning the armour, especially if this means the groundwork is laid for Champions with a Ms Marvel show also in the works.
