Universal Pictures has released a brand new trailer for the long-awaited flick from Paul Thomas Anderson, who’s been directing music videos for band Haim.
Licorice Pizza, (weird name yes, but it’s an ode to a popular chain of Southern California record stores) is a coming-of-age movie which charts the highs and lows of young love experienced by Gary Valentine (Cooper Hoffman), a young actor based in Los Angeles’ San Fernando Valley in 1973.
The film features a star-studded cast including Bradley Cooper, Sean Penn, Ben Stiller, Maya Rudolph, Haim’s Alana Haim and John C. Reilly.
In the States, the film will will have a limited release on 26 November, before a wider distribution on 25 December.
