Newly redesigned Sonic debuts in ‘Sonic The Hedgehog’ trailer

Wow, what a difference a redesign makes! Paramount Pictures has revealed the new character design for Sega favourite, Sonic, following fan backlash from the original trailer in May earlier this year.

Director Jeff Fowler was so determined to get the design right for fans, that they sent the character back to the animation studio, and boy does it look better. The transformation has been referred to as the “the glow up of the century”, with the internet even creating a brand new meme to celebrate the release.

The family-friendly film also stars Tika Sumpter and Ben Schwartz as the voice of Sonic.
