Sony Pictures UK has revealed the first trailer, poster and new stills for upcoming sequel Venom: Let There Be Carnage, which sees our titular antihero facing off against rival symbiote Carnage and host Cletus Kasady.
Like the 2018 first instalment, director Andy Serkis appears to be leaning into the black comedy and bickering dynamic between host Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy) and symbiote Venom.
As teased in the closing moments, reporter Brock and his symbiote will be squaring up against Woody Harrelson’s villain Cletus Kasady, who appears to have had a bit of a make over since we last saw him in prison. The sequel also stars Michelle Williams and Naomie Harris.
Venom: Let There Be Carnage is set for 15 September UK release.
