New Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle trailer and poster released

Netflix has released a brand new poster and trailer for Andy Serkis’ Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle which will be released globally on Netflix on December 7. This take on the Rudyard Kipling beloved tale will supposedly be a lot darker than previous films, focusing on feud that is raging between humans and animals in the jungle.

And here’s the synopsis:
Acclaimed actor and director Andy Serkis reinvents Rudyard Kipling’s beloved masterpiece, in which a boy torn between two worlds accepts his destiny and becomes a legend. Mowgli has never truly belonged in either the wilds of the jungle or the civilized world of man. Now he must navigate the inherent dangers of each on a journey to discover where he truly belongs.

Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle features a phenomenal motion capture and voice cast including Christian Bale as panther Bagheera; Oscar winner Cate Blanchett as snake Kaa; Oscar nominee Benedict Cumberbatch as tiger Shere Khan; Oscar nominee Naomie Harris as Nisha, the female wolf, Andy Serkis as bear Baloo; Peter Mullan as wolf, Akela, Jack Reynor as Mowgli’s Brother Wolf; Eddie Marsan as wolf Vihaan, Tom Hollander as hyena, Tabaqui and young actor Rohan Chand who will be playing Mowgli.

Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle is set to release worldwide on December 7th, only on Netflix.
