Amazon Prime Video has released a brand new clip from upcoming Neil Gaiman television adaptation Good Omens, which stars Michael Sheen as Aziraphale and David Tennant’s demon Crowley. The show is based on the 1990 novel Good Omens: The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman.
The trailer sees David Tennant as the demon Crowley donning the disguise of a nanny to sing a lullaby and also gives viewers a glimpse of Jack Whitehall’s character, apprentice Witchfinder Newt Pulsifer, encountering the strange goings-on ahead of the end of the world. The teaser concludes with Aziraphale (Michael Sheen) welcoming Crowley to “The End Times”.

The End of the World is coming, which means a fussy Angel (Michael Sheen, Masters of Sex) and a loose-living Demon (David Tennant, Broadchurch) who’ve become overly fond of life on Earth are forced to form an unlikely alliance to stop Armageddon. But they have lost the Antichrist, an 11-year-old boy unaware he’s meant to bring upon the end of days, forcing them to embark on an adventure to find him and save the world before it’s too late.
Good Omens is based on the beloved book by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman and also stars Jon Hamm, Frances McDormand, Nick Offerman, Jack Whitehall, Miranda Richardson, Adria Arjona, Michael McKean, Anna Maxwell Martin, Mireille Enos, among many others. Gaiman was the Showrunner and Douglas Mackinnon (Sherlock: The Abominable Bride) directed all six episodes. The series is produced by Amazon Studios, BBC Studios, Blank Corporation and Narrativia. Neil Gaiman, Douglas Mackinnon, Chris Sussman, Simon Winstone and Rob Wilkins serve as Executive Producers.
Good Omens will launch globally on 31st May 2019 on Prime Video in over 200 countries and territories in 2019 including in the UK, where it will also air on BBC Two at a later date.
