Along with revealing the new trailer, stills and poster for the second series of the live-action The Witcher series, Netflix has also unveiled the trailer and poster for the upcoming anime flick during the inaugural WitcherCon.
Delving into the story of Witcher Vesemir, who’s Geralt’s mentor, father figure and trainer at Kaer Morhen, the synopsis for the film is “Before Geralt, there was Vesemir — a cocky young witcher who delights in slaying monsters for coin. When a dangerous new power rises on the Continent, Vesemir learns that some witchering jobs are about more than just money…”
The anime project is from The Witcher series producers Lauren Schmidt Hissrich and Beau DeMayo, and created by Korean animation studio Studio Mir.
