Netflix reveals the first look at Robert Rodriguez’s “We Can Be Heroes”

Spy Kids and The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl in 3d director Robert Rodriguez is back for another family friendly adventure starring Pedro Pascal and Christian Slater.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the film follows a superhero team called the Heroics who become kidnapped, leaving it down to their kids to try to save them and the world. Eleven children band together with varying control over their abilities, “one can predict the future; another, named Facemaker, has the ability to change his face.”

When alien invaders kidnap Earth’s superheroes, their children must team up and learn to work together if they want to save their parents and the world. 

Directed by Robert Rodriguez, We Can Be Heroes stars YaYa Gosselin, Pedro Pascal, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Christian Slater, Boyd Holbrook, Christopher McDonald and Adriana Barraza.

The film will stream exclusively on Netflix from 1st January 2021.
