Netflix renews ‘Heartstopper’ for a 2nd & 3rd season

Netflix has today announced that the beloved series Heartstopper will return for two more seasons, produced by See-Saw Films. The streaming service also announced that graphic novel author and illustrator Alice Oseman will return as writer and creator.

The series, which has reached the Netflix Top Ten list in 54 countries(!), has amassed an impressive following – particularly thanks to the fans of the graphic novel. With five books of beloved source material to explore, the streaming service has chosen a fantastic adaptation with so much heart and genuine emotion.

When gentle Charlie and rugby-loving Nick meet at secondary school, they quickly discover that their unlikely friendship is blossoming into an unexpected romance. Charlie, Nick and their circle of friends must navigate the ever-relatable journey of self discovery and acceptance, supporting each other as they learn to find their most authentic selves.
