MUBI, the theatrical distributor and global curated film streaming service is delighted to announce the DVD and Blu-ray release for Charlotte Wells’ Academy Award® – and BAFTA-nominated Aftersun on 20 February 2023.
Aftersun won two awards at the London Critics’ Circle Film Awards last night, with Charlotte Wells picking up Breakthrough British/Irish Filmmaker and Frankie Corio taking home Young British/Irish Performer.
Aftersun is also nominated for four BAFTA Awards including Outstanding British Film; Outstanding Debut by a British Writer for Charlotte Wells; Paul Mescal for Leading Actor and Casting for Lucy Pardee. Paul Mescal’s performance is also nominated for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role at this year’s 95th Academy Awards®.
