Netflix has unveiled a brand new trailer for their upcoming adaptation of Jeff Lemire’s post-apocalyptic fairytale Sweet Tooth which introduces us to “The Great Crumble” and the emergence of the hybrids.
Ten years ago “The Great Crumble” wreaked havoc on the world and led to the mysterious emergence of hybrids — babies born part human, part animal. Unsure if hybrids are the cause or result of the virus, many humans fear and hunt them
The series follows the journey of hybrid deer-boy named Gus (Christian Convery) as he sets out on an adventure with loner Jepperd (Nonso Anozie) about Gus’ origins, Jepperd’s past, and whether there’s really a safe place for hybrids.
All episodes of Sweet Tooth will premiere 4th June 2021 on Netflix.
