With just one week before the first two episodes of Pixar Animation Studios’ Win or Lose launch on Disney+, the studio has unveiled two new clips from Pixar’s first-ever original series.
The clips include:
- Meet Sweaty” – The first episode introduces Laurie (voice of Rosie Foss), a 12-year-old softball player whose insecurity manifests into an ever-growing anxiety blob called Sweaty (voice of Jo Firestone) that only she can see.
- “Cheating” – Episode four stars bubbly mom Vanessa (voice of Rosa Salazar), whose daughter, Rochelle (voice of Milan Elizabeth Ray)—a talented player on the team—is accused of cheating on a test at school. Vanessa insists it didn’t happen—or did it?
Win or Lose features the intertwined stories of eight different characters as they each prepare for their big championship softball game—the insecure kids, their helicopter parents, even a lovesick umpire.
The series features the voices of Will Forte, Josh Thomson, Dorien Watson, Izaac Wang, Chanel Stewart, Lil Rel Howery, Melissa Villaseñor, Flula Borg, Kyleigh Curran, Jaylin Fletcher, Erin Keif, Tom Law, Beck Nolan, Orion Tran and Rhea Seehorn.
Directed and written by Carrie Hobson and Michael Yates, the first two episodes of Win or Lose will be available to stream on Disney+ beginning 19 February 2025.
