Marvels Inhumans set for Sky 1 slot this autumn

Marvel’s Inhumans has found its new home over on Sky 1 and is set to air in the UK and Ireland this Autumn.

Marvel’s Inhumans explores the never-before-told epic adventure of the Royal Family including Black Bolt, the enigmatic, commanding King of the Inhumans, with a voice so powerful that the slightest whisper can destroy a city. After the Royal Family of Inhumans is splintered by a military coup, they just manage to escape to Hawaii where they are greeted with surprising interactions with the lush world and humanity around them. Now they must find a way to reunite with each other and return home to Attilan before their way of life is destroyed forever.

Director of Sky 1 and Sky Living Adam MacDonald commented: “Sky 1 is the home for the biggest and best US blockbuster TV series and Marvel’s The Inhumans will be an out-of-this-world addition to the line-up. The series is bold, exciting and entertaining and I can’t wait to see the adventures unfold on Sky 1 this autumn.”

Marvel’s Inhumans is executive produced by Scott Buck (Dexter, Marvel’s Iron Fist) along with Jeph Loeb (Marvel’s Daredevil, Marvel’s Jessica Jones, Marvel’s Luke Cage) and Jim Chory (Marvel’s Daredevil, Marvel’s Jessica Jones, Marvel’s Luke Cage) with Buck serving as showrunner. Roel Reinè (The Delivery, Black Sails) directed the first two episodes. This series is a Marvel and IMAX project and is co-produced by Marvel Television and ABC Studios.
