Everyone’s favourite dancing killer android is set to make her return in the inevitable sequel to hit horror thriller, M3GAN – which is performing incredibly at the box office.
According to a report by Deadline, Universal is targeting January 17, 2025 as a release date for the sequel to the Blumhouse and Atomic Monster hit film.
The publication continues to confirm that the sequel’s script is being written by returning writer Akela Cooper (M3GAN, Malignant, The Nun 2), who wrote the script for the first instalment.
Stars Allison Williams and Violet McGraw are also revealed to be onboard to return for the sequel.
This doesn’t come to a shock for many, especially considering the film’s tease during the closing moments, along with the incredible profits it’s made at the box office. The horror flick, which is now in its second week in cinemas, has reportedly racked up $92M around the world with an original $12M budget.
