LEGO Batman: First Poster and Images Released

If, like me, you thought Batman was absolutely hilarious and one of the best characters in The Lego Movie, then this will be right up your street! Will Arnett (Arrested Development & Despicable Me) is back to voice the caped crusader in The LEGO Batman Movie!

In the same week that Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice is released (coincidence?) the first poster and images have been released for the upcoming film. Chris McKay is set to direct the movie, with Phil Lord and Christopher Miller on producing duties.

Check out the poster and images below!

According to USA Today, Arnett says “the Batcave is even better than we remembered it, it’s awesome.”

“We thought if we can tell a well-rounded, funny story that’s action-packed, we can build a big movie around this character,” says director Chris McKay. “This is the movie we would want to see.”

“Batman is an island unto himself, the only thing he doesn’t have is relationships,” McKay continues. “We’re making About a Boy as directed by Michael Mann.”

The first trailer for the film is expected to land later this week!

The LEGO Batman Movie stars Will Arnett as Batman, Rosario Dawson as Batgirl, Ralph Fiennes as Alfred Pennyworth, Michael Cera as Robin, Zach Galifianakis as The Joker, and Mariah Carey as Mayor Marion Grange. The film is set for release in February of 2017.
