Justice League: J.K. Simmons Cast as Commissioner Gordon

The Justice League Have Found Their New Commissioner Gordon!

Oscar Winner J.K. Simmons has been cast as the famous Gotham City police commissioner.

Simmons was fantastic as the scene stealing publisher J. Jonah Jameson in Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man films and has also recently been in Disney hit Zootopia. Who could forgot his Oscar winning performance in Whiplash too?

Chris Terrio has written the script for the two part Warner Bros. Justice League with Charles Roven, Zack Snyder and Deborah Snyder on producing duties.

Justice League: Part One is set to start shooting in mid-April with a Nov. 17, 2017 release date, while Part Two is set to land in cinemas June 14, 2019.

Directed by Zack Snyder, Justice League stars Ben Affleck as Batman,  Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot asWonder Woman,  Jason Momoa as Aquaman,  Ezra Miller as the Flash and Ray Fisher as Cyborg. The film is set to land in cinemas Nov. 17, 2017.
