‘Joker’ wins 2 Golden Globes for Best Actor and Best Score

Todd Phillip’s DC film Joker has scooped two Golden Globes at the 77th Annual Golden Globe Awards – although it did miss out on the coveted Best Film award.

First up – actor Joaquin Phoenix picked up the Golden Globe award for Best Actor for the comic book movie, delivering an impassioned acceptance speech highlighting the current environmental crisis in Australia and the need to tackle climate change. Check out the acceptance video below!

Secondly, composer Hildur Guðnadóttir won the Golden Globe award for Best Original Score, becoming the second woman to ever win the award at the Golden Globes, and the first to win solo.

Joker will be available for digital download from January 27th in the UK and DVD, Blu-ray and Ultra HD 4K Blu-ray release from February 10th 2020.
