Jeremy Renner reveals our first look at Clint from the “Hawkeye” series

As production continues on a whole bunch of Marvel television shows, it appears that the Hawkeye series is also well underway. With phase 4 of the MCU beginning with WandaVision in January 2021, there’s a whole host of exciting new shows hitting streaming service Disney+.

MCU star Jeremy Renner has seemingly confirmed production has resumed once again, following his initial tease that he began training back in March. The actor will reprise his role as Clinton Barton in the upcoming show, with the storyline set to be an adventure series in which the archer will pass the torch to Kate Bishop.

Renner posted an exciting new Instagram story featuring a rather beaten up and bloody Clint, along with the caption “Monday’s…” I love how the look is very reminiscent of how the character was portrayed in Matt Fraction and David Aja’s popular run in the comic books.
