There was an incredible amount of Marvel announcements at the Disney Insider Day, with a couple of updates on Taika Waititi’s next instalment of the Thor franchise.
President Kevin Feige confirmed Christian Bale’s casting as villain Gorr the God Butcher in Thor: Love And Thunder, but according to Deadline, there’s a certain Asgardian also joining the cast.
Blindspot actor Jamie Alexander is reportedly reprising her role as Lady Sif in the upcoming film, Thor: Love and Thunder, after skipping an appearance in Thor: Ragnarok.
According to the publication, that’s not the only appearance the character could be making, as it’s suggest she may have a guest spot in the Disney+ series Loki. This would reunite her with fellow Thor alum Tom Hiddleston.
Jamie Alexander will be joining the already announced lineup including Chris Hemsworth, Tessa Thompson, Natalie Portman, Christian Bale, Chris Pratt, Vin Diesel and more!
Production on Thor: Love and Thunder is set to begin next month in Australia, with Taika Waititi back to direct. Jennifer Kaytin Robinson (Someone Great) also co-wrote the script with Waititi.
Thor: Love and Thunder is set for release 6 May 2022.
