As filming is underway on location in Atlanta for the upcoming Disney+ series, a bunch of new set photos have surfaced featuring our first look at star Iman Vellani in full Ms Marvel costume.
Set photos featuring the 16-year-old newcomer in a homemade Captain Marvel costume have previously been released back in November, with JustJared now sharing pics of Vellani suited up in her character’s comic-accurate superhero costume.
Vellani was filming a scene with co-star Rish Shah, who’s playing the role of Kamran in the series. The two are joined by a packed supporting cast including Aramis Knight, Saagar Shaikh, Rish Shah, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapoor and Matt Lintz.
Production on the six-part series is still underway, with directing duo Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, and Meera Menon all on board as directors of the project.
Ms. Marvel is set to launch on Disney+ late 2021.
