If, like me, you really missed Bran’s (and Hodor’s) storyline from season 5, then you’ll be pleased to know he’s definitely back in a big way in season 6! Following the release of the first official still of Bran Stark, Isaac Hempstead-Wright has been talking about his character’s storyline in season 6 to Entertainment Weekly.
“Previously Bran’s seen tiny glimpses of future or past but never has he been very much in control in the situation,” he says. “Now we’re given looks into very important events in the past, present and future of this world and Bran is beginning to piece them together like a detective, almost as if he’s watching the show. Equally, he’s now discovering how crucial he could be in the Great War. It’s quite Inception-y.”
So Bran’s training with the Three-Eyed Raven (Max Von Sydow) has developed his greenseer abilities, this will allow the show to delve into some interesting flashbacks and forwards, with the events of the Tower of Joy rumoured to make an appearance!
Game of Thrones season 6 is set to return to HBO in April 2016
