Following the exciting news that Pierce Brosnan joins the cast as Doctor Fate, star Dwayne Johnson has confirmed that production has finally begun on DC’s next superhero instalment, Black Adam.
The actor took to Instagram to announce that cameras have finally started rolling on the project, which has been delayed numerous times due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
“History in the making, extremely excited and what a humbling moment to share with you. Officially kicking off day 1 of filming our Black Adam,” Johnson posted.
“Our Director and maestro, Jaume Collet-Serra. Our Academy Award nominee (Joker), Director of Photography, Lawrence Sher. We have an all star production crew – incredibly talented, galvanized, committed and focused to raise the bar and deliver something special for the world.”
