Dwayne Johnson announces Summer 2022 release date for ‘Black Adam’

The hierarchy of power in the DC Universe is about to change.

Dwayne Johnson has announced the official rescheduled release date of upcoming Warner Bros. Pictures and New Line Cinema flick Black Adam.

As revealed via the video billboards in New York’s iconic Times Square, the film is set to hit cinemas 29 July 2022.

The DC prequel will mark the origins of the titular antihero, along with the big-screen introduction of the Justice Society of America in key supporting roles.

Jaume Collet-Serra (Jungle Cruise) is directing, with the supporting cast including Noah Centineo as Atom Smasher, Aldis Hodge as Hawkman, Quintessa Swindell as Cyclone and Pierce Brosnan as Doctor Fate.
