Disney unveils new “Wandavision” trailer during the Emmy Awards

Marvel Studios has finally unveiled a trailer for the long-awaited new series WandaVision, which premieres in late 2020 on Disney+, at ABC’s broadcast of the 72nd Primetime Emmy® Awards.

The new trailer sees Wanda and Vision reunited following the tragic events of Thanos’ attack on Wakanda. Presumably like in the “House of M” storyline, Wanda has created an alternate reality to try and cope with the trauma of losing Vision.

We also get a glimpse of the two in their vibrant, original comic costumes, along with our first look at Kathryn Hahn’s brand new character and Teyonnah Paris’ Monica Rambeau.

Check out the trailer, poster and new stills below!

Starring Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany, Disney announced that Wandavision is the first series from Marvel Studios to stream exclusively on Disney+. This confirms that Falcon and The Winter Soldier will be delayed till 2021, as the series was originally going to be the first of the Marvel shows on Disney+

The series is a blend of classic television and the Marvel Cinematic Universe in which Wanda Maximoff and Vision—two super-powered beings living idealised suburban lives—begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems.

Wandavision is streaming exclusively on Disney+ in 2020.
