Disney has finally confirmed the official UK cinema and premier access release date for the highlight anticipated action-adventure Jungle Cruise.
Dwayne Johnson, who stars alongside Emily Blunt, took to Instagram to announce that the flick will release in cinemas and on Disney+ with Premier Access on Friday, July 30.
The actor discussed the decision to release the film in both cinemas and home release, stating the importance of returning to the cinema safely during the road out of lockdowns.
“The most important thing with our movie was to ALWAYS take care of families around the world by giving you options to watch it.” Johnson commented. “Let’s own our 2021 comeback as we get back into the swing of life – ALL ABOARD!!”
The star also shared the story of the time he went to see Pirates of the Caribbean, stating one day he hoped to be part of such a magical and fun movie one day. He also joked about his performance in The Scorpion King, stating he had a lot more work to do!
