Disney and Make-A-Wish launch ‘Aladdin’ #FriendLikeMe challenge

The Walt Disney Company has teamed up with Make-A-Wish® to launch the #FriendLikeMe Challenge today—World Wish Day®, to celebrate the release of Walt Disney Studios’ new movie, ‘Aladdin.’

The #FriendLikeMe Challenge is a campaign supported by of Make-A-Wish®’s wish granters, Disney and Will Smith. The actor, who plays the Genie in ‘Aladdin’. If you were the Genie and had the chance to grant three heartfelt wishes for someone, who would you share them with?

For every public post with #FriendLikeMe from now through May 24, 2019, Disney will donate $5 up to $1 million to Make-A-Wish to help grant life-changing wishes all over the world.

Sara Hanson, Director of Charitable Programmes, Disney EMEA, said: “There is such a strong link between the much-loved story of Aladdin and the impact real wishes can bring through the work of wish-granting organisations such as Make-A-Wish®, so we’re thrilled to launch a campaign together that continues to support our duel quest to create Moments that Matter for families with children facing serious illnesses across EMEA.”
